Lichen

A majestic view from the rim of the Grand Canyon;
The mysterious walls of a long forgotten cave.
Hardened lava that was once flowing
        from volcano to the sea>
The rippled sand after the tide
        has said goodbye.
A shell left nehind ready for a child's
        hand and eyes of wonder.
